About McNaught and Walker - New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Messrs McNaught and Walker, Directors McNaught and Walker Limited was established in 2002, when the first 5 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc were planted in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand.

The directors of the company are Nigel and Joy McNaught and Stephen and Alice Walker.

Nigel and Joy McNaught are winefarmers in Franschhoek, South Africa, who have been making wine for the last 15 years. Their wines are sold world-wide and you can see their work at www.stonybrook.co.za.

Stephen and Alice Walker have been living in Asia for the last 15 years, working hard, and looking forward to doing something completely different: making wine in New Zealand.

Our vineyard supervisor is Richard Bowling from Blenheim, Marlborough. As a viticulturist he has been running vineyards for a long time.

Our winemaker is George Elworthy, from Blenheim, Marlborough.
